The C450 is a universal Robolift sheering ceiling lift. It combines high precision, advanced technology and superior design.

The lateral load (shear) is poison for any ceiling lift. In the construction, the stability of the shear forces the largest and most important focus. A conventional scissor lift moves two movable arms in a running track and two are fixed. This solution tends to rock. Next problem are the many little arms, which act like a loose grid - but do not provide stability.

We have made this situation to our challenge, to conduct a folding mechanism so that all arms and tension rods fixed. To force inclusion of the lateral forces, we have developed robust stainless steel axles. Despite of the huge leverage, we have a considerable stability and accuracy.

The stroke lift and its parallelism are suitable for many more examples than for projectors and flatscreens. There are many uses in conversation: when equipment has to be maintained inside a ceiling, our robolift is a real alternative to others. Expensive racks were saved.

Light empty weight by highest activity!

All arms, tie rods, base plate, casing and various components are made of high quality, cold-rolled aluminum EN 573-3 (DIN 1712). It is an aluminum-modelling clay alloy EN 573 (DIN 1725). All aluminum parts are anodized silver. The surface is more resistant - it gives a special flair to the design. The axles of the joint elements and the cable fittings are stainless steel, WNr. 1.4305 (X8CrNiS18-9), AISI 303. The stainless steel cables are also insulated with a plastic coating

The built-in motor control, in accordance with VDE safety class 3 (12V low voltage) has potential-free contacts for selectively controlling the up and down movement of the lift through a conventional rocker switch or via a Crestron media control as the brand.

There are interface contacs for sensors as the limit for certain positions, and two stainless steel buttons on the housing for maintenance. An emergency brake in case of failure of the built-in motor brake is a centrifugal clutch included with an emergency stop.

A stop sensor for monitoring the cable (collision protection) - stop command "collision" is standard in the engine management also. The engine, the Somfy brand, works with 230 volts, 50Hz and 170 watts with integrated PE equal VDE Class 1 and has a built-in overload protection. The end positions can be programmed easily by push buttons.

For the cable management is an internal cable channel available. Für das Steuern per Funk ist eine Funkfernbedienung optional im Lieferprogramm. For controlling a remote control by radio is optional in the range.

Robolift provides synchronization and concurrency of the lifting and lowering mechanism. Synchronicity is possible from arm to arm via "pull rod " and spur gears. An installation and operating instructions are free with.

Notice in extreme motor-term stress:
At high working load of a tube-engine, the moment of loading time drops down - this applied all tube-engines. The motor-speed is about 3,469m per minute. With a stroke length of 4,1m (C450) the engine needs about 66,5 sec. for total deconvolution. Under maximum load and a normal room temperature of 21°C, the lift needs after 120 seconds load a cooling time of 5 minutes. This loading duration is sufficient to lift the ceiling several times and retract, but not non-stop. In our stress test of this Version C450 (under maximum load) we have lift several times up and down. The engine protection started lately and healed within few minutes

When does the engine protection start??
When lifting capacity is completely exhausted for example to often used without a break or if the room temperature is too high.
Under high load, the lift should stay between the up and down cycles. If the engine protection uses it reverts to the condition automatically after a few minutes to cool. At low load, the load time increases significantly. The longevity suffers more at too low a load.
